JJ&S was established in 1985 and provides bulk haulage services for a range of commodities, all of which allow us to be GTAS certified. Our main customer base is agricultural although we also provide haulage services for many other materials including stone, coal, and specialist sports surfaces.
We currently have a fleet 40 vehicles, This gives us the ability to be very flexible and helps us to provide our customers with outstanding delivery performance.
We have vehicles placed strategically around the UK predominantly in the South of England but also including Mid Wales and Yorkshire, allowing us to meet even the most demanding requests from our customers.
Currently Bronze accredited of the Fleet Operator recognition Scheme (FORS) working towards our Silver.

We will strive to achieve high standards of safety and health for all employees, contractors and members of the public , seeking to eliminate injury or ill health resulting from its unsafe activities or practices.
At JJ&S we are constantly working to minimise the impact of our operations on the environment, continually looking at ways to reduce pollution whether through efficient traffic management , effective maintenance programmes or innovative engineering. Our policy is to proactively manage SHE issues, aiming to set the standard in our field encouraging best practice ideas to ensure continuous improvement.
Our current fleet of vehicles all meet a minimum standard of Euro V, which not only reduces our impact on the environment but also means that as a FORS registered company all of our vehicles are LEZ compliant.
At JJ&S we take our maintenance scheme very seriously and believe that it is of upmost importance to the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. We currently run 4 weekly service intervals on all our vehicles, which is above industry standard.
In addition to this we have recently invested in a new workshop, which is fully equipped to meet the needs of our fleet, to further enhance our service schedule.
Our NEW commercial vehicle repair workshop offers Roller brake testing, Headlamp alignment, Full computer diagnostics, Full breakdown/recovery service, All servicing/repairs undertaken, MOT preparation/presentation all at competitive rates – see our ‘Commercial workshop’ section.
At JJ&S we believe it is essential to the growth of our business to provide the necessary support and training to our drivers, ensuring that we employ professional competent people. This helps us to both meet the requirement of our customers and assist in the efficient running of our fleet of vehicles.
